FFB to Conduct Annual Referee Assistance Program (RAP)

The Football Federation of Belize, with assistance from FIFA, will be conducting its annual Referees Assistance Program, (RAP). The ultimate aim of RAP is to improve officials’ knowledge of the game’s innermost technical and tactical details, thus helping them better understand and anticipate teams’ movements and players’ behavior.

The weeklong program will be conducted by Ronald Gutierrez, FIFA Referee Development Officer and Allan Brown, FIFA Physical Trainer for Referees.

The program will commence Tuesday, April 4th and concludes on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 at the FFB headquarters and training facility in Belmopan.  Thirty-two (32) participants from across the country will be participating in the program.

The official opening ceremony will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the FFB on Tuesday, April 4th, 2017. All media houses are invited to attend.
