Belize for the first time has been selected to participate in the Football for Friendship (F4F) which is the International Children’s social program implemented in 2013.
The program aims at developing youth football and a healthy lifestyle as well as promoting tolerance, open mindedness and friendship among children from across the globe. The key values of the programme include friendship, equality, fairness, health, peace, devotion, victory, tradition and honor.
Football for Friendship 2018 program will stage the final event of the program in Moscow, Russia from June 8 – 15 2018. The Football Federation of Belize has selected two young players to represent Belize at the final event of the programme. Young football player Joseph Waight Jr. will participate as country ambassador and Christopher Young will participate as the young journalist and should cover the young player activities and the F4F 2018 events within the implementation of the programme.
Mr. Alvin Earl Trapp is the head of the delegation and Mr. Ladrick Sheppard will serve as chaperon for the boys. The delegation left for Moscow Russia on June 7, 2008 at 11:30am from the PGIA.
